This is the 1st of 91 filings we hold from Thimble Island Brewing Company. It is one of 7 pastry stout labels approved in January 2019. It cleared 57 days after it was filed. The label carries imperial on the front. The label carries the Brewers Association independent seal.
From the label“Paying homage to one of our favorite movies here at Thimble Island Brewing Company, this beer is made with huge amounts of fluffy oats and lactose to give you a sweet, thick mouth feel. We used a natural process coffee to give it a unique fruity component yet retaining a lot of that roasted coffee flavor. In the spirit of "The Dude" we added some dark nugget (hops), bringing pine and a nice subtle fruitiness to the nose. Some might say we are Nihilists, but the Beer Abides. So "DONNY GRAB A LANE!"”
