What it is
Aardwolf is an IPA from Lolev in Pittsburgh, PA. It's 8.1% ABV, and its label was approved Sep 29, 2026.
If you searched for Lolev Aardwolf, that's the short version. A label approval often comes before a beer is announced, so this is an early look and nothing more.
What the label tells us
The package is a can. The hop list has five entries: Citra, Eggers pESH, Eggers Riwaka, Freestyle Nelson Sauvin and Nelson Cold-Pressed Hop Juice.
Nelson shows up twice, once as a Freestyle hop and once as cold-pressed juice. That's the part I'd circle.
The label's own description is three words. It calls the beer an "Ultra Hopped Ale." That's the label talking, and given the hop list, it isn't a stretch.
No art description came with this label, so I'll say nothing about the artwork.
When you might see it
There's no firm timing yet. Aardwolf hasn't been spotted anywhere, and no release date has been announced.
For a rough sense of pace: Lolev's past beers were spotted a median of 11 days after their labels were approved, a figure drawn from 20 beers. Counting from Sep 29, 2026, that's a yardstick and not a promise.
